I know it's late, but still...

Neil Armstrong died recently, he was the person who got me into astronomy in the first place, which then led me to get into sci-fi and physics, among other things.

His death saddens me, but still, he lived a long life and he was a great man, more of a man than I will ever be.

I will never forget him and I will always thank him for what he did, for me and the rest of humanity.

Fear

I was afraid that this rebirth of mine wouldn't last very long, I had gotten bored of this before and was afraid of doing it again.
Now however, I doubt it will happen in a while, because I actually really enjoy writing stuff for Sands and Steel, it just feels so great.

Model X-13

Today I am going to be talking about one of the characters from Sand and Steel, Model X-13.

He is one of the Protons, the name might give that away, he is the most advanced model the humans built, he is highly intelligent and strong, however quickly turned against the humans and started the Proton right movement, the humans tried to make him ''vanish'' but he was to strong and escaped.

Since then he has been working away from human colonies in an unknown location in the desert and he mostly sends messages to the colonies, however, later he also started hacking into the systems and doing different things, the last time he hacked into the systems before [Classified] he blacked out the power for everything but the visual screens in the colony and had them repeat a threatening message about Proton rights  for 2 hours before the problem could be solved, the message stated that humans [Classified].

There will be some changes to this character throughout the story, there will also been large and small events that change him, I think he will be a pretty good character.

Rebirth

I'm back, finally I found some motivation to write again, I want to finish the story, however writing on the same story can get rather tedious and reading a blog like this one might be pretty boring considering that I don't update it often.
HOWEVER I haven't written much on my stories lately, I have however written a lot of ideas down, one which I really like, when I don't have anything to say about my story, I will say something about these ideas, share them and listen to your thoughts on them, I will also ask questions on different topics and maybe even write something completely different.
Also the fact that I have so many ideas now gives me more to write on, and therefore I won't get tired of always writing in the same still on the same story.

I will also talk about one of my ideas today.

Sands and Steel: Man and Machine
This is a story that takes place on a desert planet with a highly technological civilization of human, Saphis (The first alien species humanity encountered in this universe.) and Protons, sentient robots.

It will follow four characters that have different political views and different thoughts on right and wrong as they try to make it out of an upcoming political crisis, with their factions on top, of course.

I can't reveal much more yet, but I will, with time.

Sorry

I haven't updated this blog in an eternity, I've been bust on my vacation and the internet sucks most places we visited, I'm going home now though.

While I didn't have lots of time to write as I thought I would, I still got lots of inspiration though and wrote more ideas down, I also tried to start writing a new story that takes place in the same universe as the first one, but much later.

Revelations

I figured out an idea, it's a long stretch and it will take time and mean lots of work, but I got a fantastic idea!

I have several ideas for sci-fi stories, including the one I'm currently writing and the ones you read below and I figured out that I can write them all into the same universe, I'll try to explain.

In for example (This isn't official, just to demonstrate.)
2122 the events of the first book take place.
Then in 1221 the sequel takes place (I know it's back in time, but I won't spoil why)
Then the third book in the trilogy takes place around 1222-1225 (Not sure how much time will come in between) and in the end cut to 2124.

Then 2234 the events of the first idea in the previous post take place, in the same universe, but not with the same characters, and then the second one will be re-written to fit as a sequel with the same characters and probably take place 2236-ish.
Then the third idea will also be re-written and then be put in 2240 and then the story of these characters will end.

I will then keep making more stories for a time, all with the other dimensions and the beings there being referred to somehow, I will also make sure to reveal more of them, making them less mysterious as they get less mysterious to the human race in the books, that constantly learn more about them as their technology evolves.

Then after I have written a couple of stories, I will tie them together in a way involving characters from the earlier stories and make an epic story.
I already have great ideas for the general universe and the end story, but I would like to hear suggestions!

My pause is still going, I plan on writing again in the summer, I'm going to be seeing a lot of beautiful landscapes and I hope they Inspire me, not to say I will have lots of time to do it in.

I have paused the book, as you know, but not my writing, I am currently writing down ideas for another book if I feel like writing something else or I finish the current project, I need your help however because I have this great idea! But there is the sub-ideas for what way the book will turn and I don't think it's a good idea to write three books with a very similar plot.
It's called the temple of Eternity.
The first one is about mystery and exploration, the main character finds himself in a futuristic and advanced temple like building that's larger than anything he know, but it's abandoned, throughout the story he will find the secrets of the temple, clues to his own background, and the reason for his being here.

The second one is darker and a lot more ''arena'' like, 142 people are dragged to the temple, the main character being one of them, he has no amnesia and he quickly figures out why he is there, if more than one person is alive before there has gone a week, all will die...

The third one is faster than the others and a little more basic, the character is in the temple, alone again, he quickly finds a core that reveals things to him that I won't spoil, the core, after that, can't survive anymore and starts to self destruct, dragging the temple with it, the character then has to come out with the things the core revealed.

I would like to hear which idea you like the most and if you even liked the setup from the start, also if you will, I would also like to know what you thought about the other two ideas that you didn't like as much.

I would like to say that there is more to these stories than I reveal, a lot more, all of them might seem basic, but I have some unique twists and turns I think would make for a good story.
