Progress

So far I have kept the 500-word rule, the book is really coming along great, it's starting to be less of a question about if I will get it done, and more about when I get it done.
Finished up chapter nine and started on ten, today I will rewrite some earlier parts to improve them a little.

Plans

From now on, I will try to write 500 words a day, I won't be able to do it every day, but if I can keep the pace, I should be able to be done around my birthday.
I also started on chapter 9, it's called ''The man behind the desk'', I don't have much to say about it, I don't want to spoil things, I probably won't be uploading the full version unless requested anymore though, the story is getting long and I want people to buy my book when it comes out.

10000

I just finished 10000 words on my story, the average recommended for a decent standalone book is 80000-120000, that's 320-480 pages for those who don't know.
I am very happy with this and it gives me hopes that I might finish this book, 10000 words sure isn't amazing, but to me this is a huge accomplishment!
The new character was given a nickname, Reticle, but I still need a full name for him, suggestions?
Also, Orphan isn't a good name for my book, it needs to be more... sci-fi-y? I don't know but I'm open to suggestions for this too.

Nameless

I introduced a new main character, haven't found a name yet so feel free to post suggestions.
Otherwise I don't have much to say.

Orphan

I can't decide for a name for the story, so I switch the whole time, mostly for fun even though I will think hard about the name before publishing it, the new name is Orphan.
If you have any idea for a permanent name or at least a better one, feel free to tell me.

Besides, I visited my grandfather today, he is one of the nicest, most generous and least selfish people I know.

Things move forward

I have written some more, I started on the eight chapter and renamed the seventh.
I'ts moving forward again, I might actually finish it!
I shouldn't get my hopes up though.

Good things!

The girl I was talking about earlier wasn't very angry, she reminded me of how rational and smart she is.
The whole day, she acted like normal, until the very end, when she told me that I shouldn't do what I did again.
That made me happy and saved my weekend!

About the book though, I started on chapter 7: Takeoff, it's moving forward again.

Bad things...

Well, today I am afraid that I made a friend angry, it was unintentional and I would never try to make a nice person angry, especially a friend of mine.
I really hope she was joking, teasing me or understands that it wasn't intentional and excuses me, but I am very sure it was not, I will have to wait to find out.
I feel so bad and I won't be able not to for quite some time if she is angry.

Though this blog is about my book, and not my personal problems, so I will make an update about that.

Yesterday I pulled myself together and wrote a quite large bit, I also changed a little bit of the ending of the last build, the next part will hopefully be pretty exciting.

More thoughts

I don't think I will write a romantic story, people never care about me or read my stories, I don't think that will change because I write a love story that will probably suck, besides, I wouldn't include vampires and all the people I know who actually read like vampires!
